About the firm

A chartered economist and tax adviser with an office in Mijas and a client base that mostly arrived from somewhere else. That shapes how we work: we explain a lot, in two languages.

Why this firm exists

The Costa del Sol has been receiving people for decades: buyers of a second home, retirees, businesses relocating. And for decades it has had the same problem. A tax system nobody explains in your language, and immigration rules that change every few years.

The firm exists to close that gap. We are not a general practice that happens to have a few foreign clients. The speciality is exactly that: the tax affairs and paperwork of people who came from abroad and own something in Spain, whether a home, a pension, a rental or a business.

The firm is led by José María Rodríguez Rodríguez, chartered economist and tax adviser. The office is at Calle Menta 13 in Mijas, and from there we cover the whole province of Málaga and clients who have not yet arrived in Spain.

Where we are and how we work

The office is at Calle Menta 13, 29651 Mijas (Málaga). You are welcome to come by appointment, but you do not need to set foot in the office to work with us: most files are handled by email, video call and digital signature.

If you are in Marbella, Fuengirola, Benalmádena, Estepona, Torremolinos or Málaga city, the service is the same. And if you still live abroad and are planning a move or a purchase, better still: the earlier we talk, the less there is to fix afterwards.
